So, I went to Kindergarten through second grade at Charlotte Academy, a private school that was part of the day care for which my mother worked. Then, I went to Lincoln Heights Elementary for grades 3, and half of 4. Then I completed my elementary schooling at Irwin Avenue Open Elementary School. Following along the path of the Open Magnet Program, I matriculated at Piedmont Open Middle School in August of 1996, and completed grades six through eight. After a rather ... relaxed three years of schooling, I decided to kick it up a notch, and enroll in the IB Program at the school that began Charlotte's involvement, Independence High School. Then, for many reasons, mostly because it was a Math, Science, Tech. School that also hosted an IB Program, I transferred in summer of 2000 to Harry P. Harding University High School. I was a part of many clubs and organizations there, I'll brag more once I have scanned some evidence (pictures of me at graduation, etc.). In January of 2003 I received my acceptance notification from one of the schools I applied to, the lucky school at which I would matriculate was UNC. I am currently pursuing a major in Computer Science, and considering a minor in Mathematics. I am interested in eveything thus far, however, HCI, or more specifically Enabling Technologies, as well as web technologies interest me the most - OH OH and graphics (possibly to create 3D animation programs like Cinema 4D® or Renderman®). |
